What is derpcon? Okay, before you ask, derpcon is a convention held by 5 Seconds Of Summer. YES, my favorite band until today and maybe until I don't know. In this convention, every 5SOSFam in every country who is lucky to be chosen as the winner could bring one of their friend to join them to have fun with 5SOS for two/three days.
Have fun with 5SOS including:
1. Return flight tickets for free
2. Concert ticket for free (5SOS concert of course) in Los Angeles! <3
3. Everything for free
What more fun is...... I win the derpcon contest! Wait, just kidding, I didn't win. My friend won, her name is Joey and Bilqis, you can check out Bilqis's instagram full of her own drawings here and Joey's twitter here (actually that's a fan account they run together).
Then why I write about this stuff if I didn't win the contest? Well, fyi one day before she (Joey) leave to LAX, I gather myself to ask her for help, I know it was a little bit awkward but I did it. I bought an eggplant doll which I bought it at Toys Kingdom, Grand Indonesia. When the first time I saw this doll, I have a strong feeling that I can't win this competition, so I just want to buy something that maybe I could give to them (actually I just want to give something to Ashton, because he's my favorite from 5SOS) but of course I love Luke, Calum and Michael too. So without future thinking, I grab one of those doll, then I saw a banana doll but I recognize they already have the similar one, then I asked my dad about it because I have too many dolls in my room, so I need his acceptance. I even told him why I want to buy this doll. It's kinda like this "dad, since I am 100% sure that I can't win this 5SOS competition, I want to buy this doll and I will ask whoever the winner is to give this doll to Ashton Irwin, please?" Once my dad allow me to buy this eggplant doll, I rush myself to the cashier then thank God I have it, I bought the doll (believe me, I was about to cry that day).
Okay, back to the day when I was about to deliver this eggplant doll name Lilo to Joey. She was at school when I want to meet her, so I went to her school which is so far away from my home (for Indonesian people who read this I live in Jakarta Selatan and her (Joey) school is in BSD Tangerang). I only talked, I mean texted her via twitter because I can't even remember to ask her phone number to make it easier for me to reach her. When I arrived at her school, the signal was so poor and I almost run out of battery and the worst part is I didn't bring my charger.
I waited for her to go out of her class like two hours or even two hours and a half, but God is good, I and Joey made a deal because she suddenly can't meet me on time. I gave the doll and a letter to the security there and asked her (the security) to give the doll and the letter to Joey.
Yeah, you all can guess that I and Joey never meet each other face to face, even until the day I write this.
Joey direct message me via twitter to make sure the things she receive was all from me, she took a picture of her holding Lilo and she said "this is so cute!" And I feel happy about it.
The next day, I woke up late. Then I remember Joey and Bilqis was already on the plane fly to one of the country in my bucket list.
Like some of girls nowadays, the first thing I did when I wake up was checking up my phone and I look at my tumblr notification, it was from Kania, one of my first concert friends who trapped in 5SOS world and we don't know the way back. She tagged me on a picture (a fan-art), and the picture look like this

I was shaking, Kania said to me "Is this the sign the boy already received your eggplant doll???" Then I just sat on my bed, can't stop murmuring oh my god. Then when I can handle myself, I reblogged this fan-art with "i don't know :') ok i'm shocked"
After several hours of a little bit anxiety, Joey send me a message via twitter.

Like.... the fact Ashton himself took a selfie with Lilo Penisilo (I named it with Kania after Ashton said that Lilo kinda looks like a penis)
